Our children's Sunday School is for ages 2 through Grade 5. Sunday School begins in worship at 9:30 a.m. After a short inter-generational and kid-friendly worship experience, children are excused for choir and lessons. Classes are dismissed at 10:30 a.m.
In the 2 and 3 year old class, parents join their little ones to help them learn the faith through simple stories, songs, playful activities, and crafts. Pre-K and Kindergarten learn Bible stories in a classroom setting. All K and pre-K children will learn the Bible texts that follow the lectionary -- the same texts we hear in worship on a given Sunday.
Grades 1-5 start moving around in a rotational Sunday school model. These children learn Bible stories through art, drama, cooking, science, or video. Music is also a regular part of Sunday school.
We could not host such an excellent Sunday school program without the help of parents and other adults. You can help in the classroom or behind the scenes. Opportunities for involvement are as varied as your gifts and interests, so let us know about you! For more information, contact our Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministry,
