"Confirmation begins at the cradle and ends at the grave." Confirmation is not graduation from church, but a unique time on one's lifelong faith journey. We surround our young people in these years with the Gospel of Jesus through caring adults, engaging conversation and study, community building, opportunities to experience and lead worship, meaningful service work, and a lot of fun. We want our young to know the promises of baptism, Holy Scripture, and the story of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection -- all in the context of a community of faithful people who care deeply for them.

Confirmation begins in 7th grade and ends on Reformation Sunday, the last Sunday in October, of the 9th grade year. 7th and 8th Graders meet regularly on Wednesday evenings for class. Class time includes group and trust building games, Bible stories, videos that teach the faith, discussion, and prayer. 9th Graders focus more solely on writing the Faith Statement that they will deliver on Confirmation Sunday.
