ELCA initiative offers insight and deeper understanding of God’s Word.

Diamond Lake Lutheran Church is taking part in a series of Bible Studies and teachings that invite the church to sharpen its mastery of a second language – the language of faith. The “Book of Faith” program is an initiative of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.

The initiative invites the church to “become more fluent in the first language of faith, the language of Scripture, in order that we might live into our calling as a people renewed, enlivened, empowered and sent by the Word,” according to the ELCA.
