Sunday School

Parents join their little ones in this class where two  year olds learn about God and Jesus through simple stories, songs, playful activities, and crafts.

Baptism Classes

Baptism classes focusing on infant and child baptism are held several times throughout the year, typically on Sunday mornings during the Education hour.  These classes explore the theology of baptism and the promises made in baptism.

First Communion Class

Our First Communion Class is a joint learning opportunity for children and their parents.  This class is for all children wishing to receive Communion who are in 1st grade and up.  This is a wonderful opportunity for children and their parents to explore what communion is all about.  The class is typically held on a Saturday morning a few weeks before Easter with First Communion celebrated on Maundy Thursday.

Sunday School (2-years-old through grade 6)

Diamond Lake offers Sunday School classes for children two years old through Grade 6.  Classes are held at 9:45 on Sunday mornings from September through May.  1st graders through 6th graders learn Bible stories through themes on a rotation basis.  A story may be "experienced" through art, drama, cooking, a science experiment, computer, or a video.

Sunday School offers many ways for adults to be involved with children.  You can help in the classroom or behind the scenes.  Opportunities for involvement are as varied as your gifts and interests, so let us know about you!

Minor League

Minor League is 45 minutes of fun and faith for children in grades three through six.  We meet every Wednesday evening from 6:30 - 7:15.  Each week we have a different theme, so get ready to love God and love others through service projects, drama, games, movies, arts & crafts, and music. 

Minor League events are coordinated by parents.  If you have kids participating in the program, we ask that you join one of the planning teams listed below.  Each team will be responsible for approximately four events per year.
