YOUTH COMMITTEE MEETING THIS SUNDAY, APRIL 13, FOLLOWING THE 11:00 SERVICE IN THE YOUTH OFFICE.
PARENTS / YOUTH SUMMER TRIP MEETING APRIL 27, FOLLOWING THE 11:00 SERVICE IN THE YOUTH ROOM (yes I know that some of you will be at the confirmation meeting, just come down to the youth room when you are done).
Date Night is coming up, and if you signed up to work please arrive promptly at 6:00pm. You will be in the youth room and fellowship hall, so bring your creative energy to watch the kids and have fun. The night should end around 10:00pm, and all funds raised will be added to your individual youth accounts. Thanks for signing up.
Guess what else is coming up? Yup, it is the RUMMAGE SALE! I don't see a lot of kids that have signed up to work at it. Remember, if you are going on the summer trip, this is your chance to make money. If you have some special items that you would like to sell, you can mark them with your name and get the money in your individual account. There is a nice assortment of stuff in the fellowship hall, but remember no adult clothes, shoes, exercise equipment or bikes. (However, I am looking for a nice bike at a cheap price so if you have one let me know).
Hey all you 9th grade confirmands, ARE YOU READY? It's almost time! Are you getting excited? Confirmation is just around the corner and we are cheering you on in this final stretch of prep time. Do you need help with your faith statement? PLEASE SEE Pastor Amy or Kristen Thompson ASAP. Have you completed or are you working on your service project? How are your stoles coming? Please don't wait until the last second. We want to help you. We are so proud of you and your faith journey. Now you are preparing to be an adult in the church so we are here to support you. Please let us know if you need help. Bring your stoles or faith statements to work on during confirmation on Wednesdays.
Mentors: the Bibles are in. Please see me to discuss your confirmand's Bible.Speaking of Wednesdays . . . I am so excited to announce the return of IN THE HOUSE. This is the Wednesday night FAN club activity where we travel to a youth's home and have our small group discussion there. 4/16 leads us to Addie's house and we will be discussing "I want a new soul" | 4/23 leads us to Ross' house, discussion topic TBD | 4/30 leads us to Lizzie's house, discussion topic TBD
Hey how was Sunday school this past week? Did Frank do an awesome job? Did he get you thinking? A big THANK YOU to him for teaching, supporting, and guiding all of us on our faith journey. Don't you think the journey is more fun with all your friends with. Thanks for joining me on my journey, it's great to have you along.
