LSS owns the building.

# Apts.

There are 12 apartments in the building. Diamond Lake is responsible for maintaining and furnishing all 12 apartments in cooperation with LSS custodians.

Residents

The residents are typically single parents (nearly all mothers) with 1, 2, or 3 children. They move into the apartments from shelters and therefore have very few possessions.

Duration

Each resident may live in the apartment for up to 18 months at which time they transition into other housing.

Turnover

Once a resident vacates an apartment, Diamond Lake members will clean, paint, refurbish, and refurnish the apartment. The vacating resident is allowed to take all household items (not furniture) with him / her.
