Not Just for Sundays
Our worship services are every Sunday at 9:30 am, but you’ll find activities inside and outside our building throughout the week as well. Take a look at our calendar and join us!

You are welcome at Diamond Lake Lutheran Church, a Reconciling in Christ congregation. Your presence makes your journey part of our journey–one we share with people of all ages and abilities, family structures, sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, races and ethnic backgrounds, and financial circumstances. We affirm that every individual is a member of God’s family, uniquely created and worthy of belonging. We are joyfully committed to hearing your stories, engaging your gifts, and working alongside you to strive for racial equity, promote social and economic justice, and heal our broken world. This congregation, like all congregations, is fallible and flawed. We make mistakes. But we are dedicated to building relationships with all who believe, doubt, question, seek, and wonder.
If you’re exploring Diamond Lake Lutheran Church for the first time, our website will answer many questions. We invite you to visit us in person to learn even more about who we are and what we do. Our worship services are every Sunday at 9:30 am, but you’ll find activities at Diamond Lake throughout the week as well. Wednesday evenings are especially busy with a community meal, Kids Club, Youth Group, and the Lakeview Forum. Take a look at our calendar and join us!
The easiest way to become part of a church community is to get involved. From social outreach to Bible study and more, we offer many opportunities to deepen relationships both inside our walls and out in the community. Drop in at any time to learn more about how each group operates. We can’t wait to meet you!

Join us for our annual musical production, written and directed by Graydon Royce. This year, the youth will present It’s A New Day, the story of a newspaper reporter sent to cover Jesus only to find her life is changed by the story she never expected to write.

Throughout Lent, we gather like the early Christians around tables: We enjoy a simple meal, sing, share the sacraments, and engage in conversation with people we know and with those who are new to us.
Dinner + Church is intergenerational; everyone is invited! Food options are provided for those who have dietary restrictions.
Absolutely all are welcome!

Led by Parish Nurse Parker Webster, this group is open to people experiencing—or anticipating—any kind of loss, including the death of a loved one, changes in health, the end of a relationship, job loss, or other life transitions.
Whether your loss is recent or happened long ago, and whether your grief feels heavy, complicated, or hard to name, you are welcome here.

You don’t need to be a Bible expert to participate in Bible study at Diamond Lake Lutheran—just bring your curiosity! This is a safe space for questions, discussion, imagination, and reflection. All are welcome!

This class will help individuals understand the meaning and significance of receiving Holy Communion. Learn about its Biblical foundations, the role of the sacrament in worship, and how it connects worshippers to God and the church community. The two-hour class is open to people of all ages who wish to deepen their understanding of this sacred practice.
We will celebrate the communion milestone at the Maundy Thursday worship service on April 2 at 6:30 pm.

When you arrive, friendly greeters will welcome you. If you have a few extra minutes, grab a cup of coffee and a Bogart’s Doughnut, and join folks in the commons area for conversation.
During worship, you’ll experience a blend of liturgy, Bible readings, and a thought-provoking sermon. Children are actively engaged in the service through features such as the Pray-Ground at the front of the sanctuary and the Sermon on the Steps. Holy Communion is part of every worship service.
Award-winning musician Dr. Kevin Hobbs plays both the organ and grand piano, offering worshippers a weekly prelude and postlude on the grand piano. The choir is directed by Dr. Bruce Gleason, and services often feature the Children’s and Carillon Bell Choirs, led by Chuck Linderkamp.
Congregational Fellowship Hour: Following worship, stay awhile to enjoy more Lutheran coffee, Bogart’s Doughnuts, and great conversation.

Each of us is gifted with unique talents, interests, and life experiences. Using these gifts alongside others helps us to carry out our mission at Diamond Lake to learn, follow, and serve. Learn more about the variety of committees, teams, and ministries we offer. Some of them keep our church healthy and vibrant while others focus on connecting with people in the greater community. We invite you to consider where God might be calling you to be of service.
