Kathi, still a Montana farm girl at heart, graduated from Concordia College, Moorhead, with double majors in Communications-Broadcast Journalism and French, and a minor in Spanish. She worked in local television newsrooms in Grand Forks, Dickinson, and Bismarck for ten years before moving to the Twin Cities. She continued in broadcast journalism for another ten years as a producer. A member of Diamond Lake since 1992, she’s been working at the church since 2003 in a variety of roles. She finally put her Spanish fluency to use when she and her husband adopted two children from Bogota, Colombia. Kathi enjoys baking, cooking reading, gardening, and summer weekends at the cabin near Duluth.
